He's a different horse his last three starts and is improving with each run.
FWIW he was beaten less then two lengths in the Tancred. Not running the distance is a stretch.

what is everyones verdict on handicapping each horse for a heavy track when say 2/3 of the field hasnt run on heavy before?

surely a modern professional track like caulfield, with several layers of track surface would have not turned into "slop" therefore it would perform more "soft like" than "heavy slop"
