29 next year, All Australian caliber player with 200 games experience. Right now our only defender with over 100 games is Rory Laird who has played in the back line 4 games in the last 5 seasons.

I get that and I really like him as a player but we have a good amount of quality back there, I don't think he brings enough to be a go get him type for us now

And look - I am not saying he is the type of player you do whatever you can to acquire.

Just think he would fit very nicely in an extremely young backline. Would give us some real hardness, experience and stability back there. SA Boy and as an unrestricted FA we would be silly not explore if we make the finals in 2025.

I am shocked that RB hasnt tried to get a foothold in Australia through team sport sponsorship. So it wouldnt surprise me if they do branch out.
