Are there any of our veterans you do like?

Tex X
Sloane X
Smith X
Laird X

Who am I missing?

Tex has been good as a veteran, I would have called it after last year’s injury affected poor year though. Otherwise I judge on football performance, I support them until their footballing output no longer has value to the 22 or worthy of a list spot. Add Thommo to your list.

Laird isn’t there yet, but he needs to change his attitude from what we saw last year and use the ball a damn sight better given the amount of uncontested ball he racks up beck in defence.

And I’ve actually posted that given Smith was injured last year, he might not be that far from acceptable performance this year if he stays fit and is required through injury.

But no, I don’t blindly support players that make the side’s job harder each week just because they’ve been here for ages. They’re professionals in an industry that demands performance. Strange given your stated career that you don’t understand that.

Ok you are on (but need to advise I will be applying for Bankruptcy before settling on the bet haha)

FR0GGY it won’t be listed in his/her assets, but you might be able to get the 30% returns share trading system. I wouldn’t be worried about the other bits and pieces, just get the trading system.

Haha, brilliant idea. What a shit show their sponsorship is :)

As mentioned previously we have the world biggest car manufacturer, worlds biggest mining company, Asias biggest telco and other major groups like the merged SA Unis.

Power have some third rate chocolate milk - they couldn’t even get Farmers Union. And anyone following the Whyalla debacle knows this was always a very likely outcome. So now using black masking tape to block out GFGs name. Debacle.

They have had various other major sponsors go belly up over the years also from memory.

Yep, watching us get presented with the ‘SA Club Best Sponsors’ award is a pretty proud moment that we all enjoy each year.

I feel like I should remember this, but what is Strachans actually injury? He's essentially missed the entire preseason now right?

For a dude who is playing for a list spot, he's coming from a long way back.

My aunty who is a port member did buy a Renault because they did get a pretty nice discount however about two months after purchase a hail storm dented the exterior really badly and insurance said it was "act of god" or some shit and she turfed it for half the price she paid for it and went and purchased a different car.

WTF? Are you actually seriously disagreeing with the relative quality, size, brand awareness and market clout of our major sponsors vs Port? Or just being difficult?

If we had this guy kicking out, we'd have to wear the one that did go right

This is easily worse than the famous Dmac failed rushed behind. We've all tried and failed to touch a bouncing ball, especially with the threat of being pinged for deliberate rushed. But this is just insane.

He runs directly at the opponent. He wasn't blindsided, the Sydney player didn't trick him with a juke or double back. He literally runs directly at the opponent, and waits until he's right at him to kick. The Sydney player even has a moment where he hesitates like "Is he going to do something?" If he was drawing the man, he's done it perfectly, he has a team mate on the right waiting. But he wasn't. It was easily the worst play I saw last year, and I saw every game that Ned played.

That's shit. My car was damaged in that hail a while back, and it was covered.

That's not a thing.

It is a thing.

A lot of insurance companies dont pay out on acts like that anymore.
It isn't though. I've worked for various types of insurers since 2005 and I'd love for you to show me a PDS which states this.

Youi may be the only exception but they underwrite their policies far differently to bring premiums down and this is often missed by people who speed read/don't read at all.

Hmm... a quick google tells me RAA, Allianz and AAMI include hail cover as standard, while RACV and Budget Direct say "if your policy includes...". I don't know if that's some sort of CYA on their part, but Budget specifically say hail (and some other things) is an optional extra. Could catch out punters who don't pay close attention.

When I bought my new car I did make sure I had the cover

Mate you seem to be an expert on helluva lot of things

Can you tell me what insurance companies do NOT cover hail damage under a standard comprehensive policy? (Clearly with excess payable). Happy to stand corrected if so

No,its complete crap what the other poster is saying.

In fact, hail damage is often one of the biggest claim items per year for general insurers (thousands of cars with tens of thousands of dollars damage and/or written off) more than higher profile bush fire type events

Hail is not deemed an act of God
