I mean having 2 different women pregnant at the same time (later went on to marry one of them) was already an indication of his character, but looks like he's taken it ever lower (allegedly)

I mean it's probably a bad look for the club but theoretically the West Coast Eagles could sue West Coast FC of the Solomon Islands for copyright or trademark infringement, yeah?
Yeah a similar thing happened with an EPL club (Brighton and Hove Albion) and a small Croatian club recently

Brighton eventually won the case and the other club had to change their logo

I think the Townsville Crocs in the NBL were originally the Townsville Suns until the Phoenix Suns sued. Which is ridiculous.

Not a huge fan of the thread title but thats most cause racists on instagram love to use it

That’s a shame, previously it was only associated with that movie starring living saint Kevin Spacey.

Closed out Cobra Kai last night.

I have been critical of the last couple seasons, in that they were basically all the same and that it needed to wrap up, I had fun with these last few eps.

Although extremely cliched, for the vibe and storey they were telling it was a pretty solid ending and didn't leave much ambiguity.

Tory with the "welcome to the valley, bitch" got me fist pumping 🤣

They should. **** being associated with a soccer team

All jokes aside, the optics of a club with a million fans and tens of millions in revenue per year suing an amateur side in the Solomon Islands is not ideal.

Summers nearly done. Reckon overall it’s been a decent summer. Can’t recall a summer where we had so many days under 30 especially in jan and feb. only thing I didn’t love was the humidity especially that patch where it was hot and humid

"According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the average maximum temperature in Perth since January 2025 has been around 31.4°C, with the average minimum temperature sitting at 18.2°C; this aligns with the long-term average for Perth in January. "

Might have evened out I suppose. We had a stretch of really good weather followed by some by a sizeable heatwave that was really muggy.

Maybe it’s recency bias from my behalf cause last summer just felt relentless

Likely to be decently warm into early April.

March has always been the hottest part of Perth summer and we're still in February. 🤪 super hot days are still to come.

It's been an above average summer thus far again. December 2024 was 1.5 degrees above average, as was January 2025. February 2025 is 0.4 degrees above average presently but may finish around average.

Still technically a month of summer to go as March is climatologically warmer than December. Perth is the only Australian capital to experience this anomaly.

That's not correct. March is the third warmest month of the year in Perth.

Many parts of the world measure their seasons astronomically, to line up with the solstices and equinoxes. So for instance, our summer would start at the summer solstice on December 21st and finish on the autumn equinox on March 21st. But it's easier just to use calendar months, so that's what we do.
