I would say he loves the club and Sydney, shows faith in what the club is developing with our “next generation” of players, specifically the mids, after the Giants legends of Ward, Cogs, Kelly etc retire.

but also it’s not a good look (if true) for the Saints. I mean would he still be here if say a Cats or Pies offered that?

Why would any player go to a developing club (at most if you call the Saints that) from a contender, after already spending years developing when they got to GWS. No player is that insane. Money isn't everything.
