Mount Buller's longest serving captain (10 Seasons one Premiership and 168 games) is about to play his 250th game in the league. 21 of those games were at the Furies but we won't hold that against mang who is clearly Demon royalty

A Frankston Rover recipient, beez winner, Hall of Famer, 2x premiership player and 7 times All-SFA, this is a decorated career for one of the smartest and funniest posters in the league who has also put in a ton of work behind the scenes over the years.

mang turned the Demons into one of the most stable and prolific posting outfits in his time as captain and his welcoming and steady hand helped make it home for many.

mang was the Captain at the Demons when I joined the league and he really fostered an environment where people could come and have fun and be supported to be active in the league, he got me involved early and I couldn't think of anywhere better to have ended up.

My dear friend Mang, congratulations on what is a mighty effort in reaching 250 games. It has been a great honour to have played in 110 of your Sweet F.A games. Mang has been a solid contributor in all facets of the league. A rare player that has done it all and always giving their all to the league and ensuring it is a beautiful place to visit. May you play 250 more and join another exclusive club.

Trying to come up with some of my own words to acknowledge Mang's milestone appropriately is difficult.

As such, I will borrow the words of the great poster spoken moments after the S26 Grand Final win:

That mang guy, such a troll. Still hangs onto his admin powers of the old boys club. Pure clown vibes from him. he was a decent captain though.

Of all the Richmond supporters I've ever met from Bigfooty, Manangatang is my favourite!

He is also the only Richmond supporter on Bigfooty that I have ever met.

I’m not going to begin to detail the achievements of one of , if not “the” best captains the SFA has seen. I handed over the Mt Buller captaincy to Mang after S27 and I didn't have a doubt in the world he’d be awesome and he didn’t disappoint. Hard working behind the scenes, fiercely loyal to his team and a mediocre fisherman. I love the bloke

Manangatang has been a great leader at Mt. Buller in my time at the club. I'll always remember the first thing he said to me when I joined the Demons.

A tremendous congratulations to Mang on his 250th. While his accolades and contribution within the league speak for themselves, mang’s sits alone in my eyes at the top of the hierarchy as the best and most devoted leader any club has had. Mang was tireless in his pursuit of making the Demons an engaging, fun place to play and an incredibly difficult club to leave. The subsequent engagement that the club has enjoyed is in no small part attributable to his influence, wit and ability to engage with everyone at their level. Others will say more, but for your personality and persona, the league is a much richer place
