Him and his mate are such a dragJackson changes manager to Andrew McDougall and all of sudden Jackson is linked with a move back to Melbourne because of his partner.

Tbh why isn’t Darcy being spoken about rather than Jackson?I’m hoping Darcy comes back in a month or two, has a decent season and we trade him to the cats for a first and some change
Because of the injuries. Any value he has is from three or four years ago. It’ll take a miracle for him to get back to playing regularly. Maybe the Lions with their medical team that did wonders for Joe Daniher might think they could fix him.Tbh why isn’t Darcy being spoken about rather than Jackson?
Injury prone, is Victorian so throwing him to Melbourne for Pickett given Gawn is about to wind down soon.
The news came out during the game and he was asked about it straight after. Not really concerning at all in that sense. He also said that Jackson was asked by the club and said that he had no intention of going anywhere. Not much more you can say to dispel rumours, whether true or not.It is a little concerning that JLo has to come out and deny the rumours. If the shoe was on the other foot and Goodwin said "nothing I’ve seen of Pickett throughout the pre-season has shown me that he wants to leave our club", we would be singing in delight. I still think the chances of this trade happening is the same as Jacko settling down with his partner who is 10 years older then him.

This has the Sandilands/Griffin vibe. I think you've forgotten how good Darcy can be.He’s always injured and we can’t pay all these players $1m a season. Someone on big money has to go. I’d rather keep Jackson and find another ruck option
Cleary’s follow up tweet made it sound like a nothing story tbh. Clubs are aware that the door might be ajar for Luke Jacksons to maybe have his head turned.I got the feeling JL was annoyed at the report and the question. He didn't think it was true at all.
Melbourne just causing trouble.
I mean Goodwin did say exactly that about 2 weeks ago - “Simon Goodwin yesterday on Kozzie Pickett said, ‘He's going as well as anyone at the football club, and it's just showing everyone how engaged he is, he's as engaged as I have ever seen’,”It is a little concerning that JLo has to come out and deny the rumours. Griff did his ACL and was never the same? Kicked a great goal against the Tiges before it though. I know how good Darcy can be. When he’s fit he’s exactly what we need and he’s top three in the league. I guess we’ll see how the year plays out. If he can stay on the field after he gets back then great. This has the Sandilands/Griffin vibe. I think you've forgotten how good Darcy can be.
Let's revisit this when Darcy returns.
Excuse me? How so? It's some BS Melbourne journo doing some favours for the Demons (who he is known to be associated with)
I'll explain what I mean.Griff did his ACL and was never the same? Kicked a great goal against the Tiges before it though. I know how good Darcy can be. I won't rule anything out in the crazy modern world of AFL player movement but I'm sure Clearys word were very carefully chosen.
Griff was on track for AA before his ACL though and Sandi would get 70 taps but they’d be sharked by the opposition midfield half the time. Sean’s taps to advantage are unreal. The player isn’t the problem, his availability is. We have a good enough midfield to work with a top ten ruckman who can front up every game and let Jackson be the unicorn.I'll explain what I mean.
When Griffin was playing during Sandilands bad injury run people on here were saying that we didn't need him back because Griffin was playing well. Sandilands came back and absolutely monstered teams and reminded us all who is the King of the Jungle.
Griffin wasn't going to get AA that year. He was decent but Sandilands was the better player.Griff was on track for AA before his ACL though and Sandi would get 70 taps but they’d be sharked by the opposition midfield half the time. Yeah sure if his body is willingGriffin wasn't going to get AA that year. He was decent but Sandilands was the better player.
Trading Darcy is a bad move. At least give the bloke a chance this year after working his backside off before you go trading him.
