Honestly I've been thinking it might be smart to do exactly that. If Kozzie is worth 3 first rounders butters is worth 5. Seriously though if we can get two top tens and a pick in the twenties, we can actually address some of the weaknesses in the side. Better yet do it and offer Butters money to LDU that would be the greatest play ever.

I basically just think that while he's absolutely outstanding, if an offer of 2x top-10 picks or 3x FRPs comes in, it should be considered because it could feasibly patch up the gaps in the rest of your list in a single off-season. Totally aware it's probably against the grain.

No it's not! Yes, we do want to keep him, but if he does have a desire to return to Melbourne, then IMO we will be well compensated, so it would not be a disaster. Losing both him and Bergman would not be good though

You know, I actually thought about alluding to the difference in opinion between the broader footy public and "certain online spaces" when it came to Rozee, but decided against it... We are cucks. We’d more likely fold and accept a pick in the teens and let him go to a contender because “we respect his wishes to return home to be close to family”
