Not to mention alter his kicking technique. It seems like he always tries to belt the ball out of the park rather than finding the sweet spot to kick the ball.SPP needs to get that super selfish, try and snap from anywhere beyond 30+ metres, out of his game. He does it every time now and always misses. Never looks for a hand off.

We sure did & a few of us called for it late last year or very early this year as we didn't think Rat was going to cut it as a defender. We spoke of that move a few weeks back on BigFooty, lol, it was the only move one could do.

I remember a pre-season game down at Noarlunga in his debut season & he was spraying it but showed plenty of desire. Not too much has changed. LolNot to mention alter his kicking technique. I remember his debut game and he kicked two goals from outside 50 cleanly.
What ever happened to that SPP? Is it the hair that adds 15% kicking skill?![]()
yeah good pointDBJ was our most potent forward last season, and has started this pre-season very strong as well. He should be much higher.
Wow, his player assessment was spot on imo. Luv his comments on Hinkley. Definitely not a fan.Quite a comprehensive look at our team - whether it's any good or not, YBTJ...

It’s probably that he thinks Butters should be captainports big [emoji639] trio linked to a move away from the club, anyone have any idea what he’s on about ?

I think it's moreso that he thinks we should trade him. It’s probably that he thinks Butters should be captain
Or thatIt reads like he thinks Butters has a major deficiency or is overrated.
Honestly I've been thinking it might be smart to do exactly that. If Kozzie is worth 3 first roundersI think it's moreso that he thinks we should trade him.
He talks a lot about our lack of balance in the midfield throughout the article.
butters is worth 5. Seriously though if we can get two top tens and a pick in the twenties, we can actually address some of the weaknesses in the side. Better yet do it and offer Butters money to LDU that would be the greatest play ever.ports big [emoji639] trio linked to a move away from the club, anyone have any idea what he’s on about ?

He's saying "the' member of the big 3 midfielders who is most often linked to a move away. So he means one player, who as others have pointed out would be Butters.
G'day – I wrote the piece. No inside knowledge, and no, I don't think Butters has any deficiencies. I basically just think that while he's absolutely outstanding, if an offer of 2x top-10 picks or 3x FRPs comes in, it should be considered because it could feasibly patch up the gaps in the rest of your list in a single off-season. Totally aware it's probably against the grain. It reads like he thinks Butters has a major deficiency or is overrated.
No it's not! Yes, we do want to keep him, but if he does have a desire to return to Melbourne, then IMO we will be well compensated, so it would not be a disaster. Losing both him and Bergman would not be good thoughG'day – I wrote the piece. No inside knowledge, and no, I don't think Butters has any deficiencies. Your article nailed our list though ... It also confirmed that the author was a Bigfooty reader, with many of your comments really reflective of sentiment here!G'day – I wrote the piece. You know, I actually thought about alluding to the difference in opinion between the broader footy public and "certain online spaces" when it came to Rozee, but decided against it... Thanks for reading and engaging, hopefully you and others found it a reasonable distillation of the season ahead.Your article nailed our list though ... We are cucks. We’d more likely fold and accept a pick in the teens and let him go to a contender because “we respect his wishes to return home to be close to family”G'day – I wrote the piece.
