If Bedford wasn't tagging, Daicos would score 400 tomorrow. Cogs is underdone, there's no Stringer at CBAs, and of course no Green. Cogs, Leake, Callaghan, Bedford, Jelly, Ward and O'Halloran isn't a threatening midfield.

But Bedford will tag him, and he's bloody good at it, so I'm predicting a low ton for Nicky Daics. Bedford will go to him and do a decent job, but Nick will still rack up decent numbers as Pies starting kicking goals. The tag will need to be released as the Giants chase the win.

What’s everybody strategy this year with the 5 boosts?

Boost early to correct rookies?
Save the boosts for the byes?
Save the boost for the finals?
Save the boosts for injuries?
No set plan will play it as it comes?

Use them early to correct rooks, as cash gen is king. It's fairly likely that we'll cop an injury or pick a failed mid-pricer who also need to be corrected. Don't really need them for the main byes since we already get an extra trade in those weeks.

We won the flag 18 months ago, it can't be that bad

Yeah I know, but without Green it looks so much weaker on paper. GWS haven't looked great this preseason, without Green and Hogan, they are there for the taking. I'll be beyond disappointed if Pies don't get the win tomorrow.

We have a rough start to the season, with GWS outs if we don't capitalise it's a worry.

After last night's game I've just reshuffled my entire team to now include

• Will Day
• Matt Roberts
• Lloyd Meek
• Isaac Heeney
• Ben Patton

Because they all put up good scores.

I'll give you another update after the Pies vs Giants game.

I’d probably go The Coaches Panel and pick the SuperCoach relevant episodes. Dr SuperCoach was very good but it’s no longer free.

I'm liking SuperCoach Insider at the moment.

It used to be Phantom's Lair, it's now been co-opted and is the official Supercoach podacst, and it isn't as good.

Most of the rest of them are not great IMO, on Spotify anyway.

I find myself listening to AF content in preference to anything else SC apart from the now-official guys (SC bought out their competition and then mildly sabotaged them IMO).

I'd tell you what I reckon about most of the content creators, but it's unwoke lol

Perryman is in 25% of teams. It's going to very interesting to see where that goes after today's game. If he drops a 120 today like he did in the praccy match, that will rise well over 30%. I reckon in this role his floor is high, 75-80. If he drops something like an 84 today, it makes things interesting.

We’ve been waiting for him for years. There’s a reason he hasn’t cracked it in the four years his been on Sydney’s list. Thought this was going to be the year but he looked terrible last night. He’s 22. Sounds like a lot of unrealised potential. Reminds me a bit of Weidemen at Melb. Too good at VFL but no good at AFL.

I'm on a similar wavelength with thinking he reminds me of Finn Macrae. Great in the VFL, but not AFL standard.

Sheldrick is out of my side for the moment, but I can always correct him back in if required.
