Probably the more ideal player for us. TDK would be nice but he’s like a bit of a luxury. Sam legit fills a massive need.

Ultimately, we won't truly know our standing for the upcoming season until we get through the first 4-5 games. Saying that, as everyone knows, we have a pretty brutal start to the year - playing contenders and three games in SA.
Even with a full-strength side, many of these games would still be considered 50-50 at best. However, the evenness of the competition is a reason for optimism for many. In my opinion, positions 5-16 on the ladder are up for grabs for anyone.
Of course, the injuries we have sustained to key players post-Christmas, embarrassing final preseason game performance, and our overall history as a club, has played a key role in many fans feeling pessimistic. That is a valid emotion.
Personally, I have held off my expectations on this season we play against the Crows this Sunday. We should get a couple of senior reinforcements to help the youngsters, but the forecast here in SA is currently rain in the morning and some wind.
If we deliver a performance similar to the Port preseason game, then there will be plenty of alarm bells going off among fans and the media will be having a field day, purely cause it's low-hanging fruit and very easy to do.
There is a world where I can see us having a reasonable season (that could include finals), but the start of the season will dictate that. We could be 1-9, or something like 5-5. No one knows, and that's the truth.
Maybe its because we are only days away from our first game, but let's react to actual performance, not prospective performance. I will be there this Sunday flying the flag and hope many others do so too.

With that many athletic blondes we may pick up a Tesla sponsorship

Might not even be a Tesla if the 46b he lost yesterday becomes a trend. With that many athletic blondes we may pick up a Tesla sponsorship![]()
Did you time it?Pou just walked a lap. That's enough for me, get him in!

I'm hearing that after the AFL get through with Geelong they will have to shed players. Could be a TDK/SDK double act coming Saints way 2026.You’d have to wonder about his sanity if he didn’t look at it. Generational wealth type shit.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bloke.Might not even be a Tesla if the 46b he lost yesterday becomes a trend.
I've always wanted a good cheap EV, give it another 2 months and a used Tesla will be worth about 25k. Rebadge it with an Audi badge and most kents wouldn't know what you were driving.Might not even be a Tesla if the 46b he lost yesterday becomes a trend.
You say this like everything won’t be swept under the carpet at AFL House.I'm hearing that after the AFL get through with Geelong they will have to shed players. Could be a TDK/SDK double act coming Saints way 2026.

Wouldn't lower my principles for a half priced Tesla? lol you dont like my principles? I have others![]()

Some notes from today's training:
Dougal & Sharman ran laps. Dougal's right arm is half the size of his left arm, probably due to muscle atrophy as a result of being in a sling for so long.
Still lots of basic skill errors, with short kicks missing their targets.
The viking is such an exciting prospect. He needs to out on some size but he and Barrat are the future of the saints backline. At one point he floated across the front of a pack and took a mark. Reminded me of his pre-draft highlights reel. He reads the ball so well in the air. Get excited Saints fans!
Tobie needs to work on his kicking as it can be quite hit & miss at times.
Mitch wearing the no contact fluro cap. Trained with the main group but seemed like he was careful not to get too involved. I'd say he's unlikely to play this week. If they're protecting him from contact 4 days before the game, i'd be surprised if he plays.
King walked out half way through training and looked like he was doing some light testing of the knee with the physios. After a long discussion, he walked back inside. It appeared as though he had a slight limp. No chance that he is ready for this week, and probably not for a few weeks. If I was a betting man, I'd say we won't see him until round 4 or 5.
Marshall trained mainly as a forward.
The Pou appeared at the very end of training and walked around the oval with a physio. To me he looked bigger than pre-injury and seemed like he's lost some of the muscle definition. He looked in such great shape prior to his injury, and perhaps he's lost his fitness due to being off his feet for so long. He definitely needs a mini pre-season to get back into shape.
Sinclair & Marshall all looked ready to go. Henry not far away.

Its hard to believe any of his forecasts for the future. My sister in law is embarrassed to drive hers now. People are putting stickers on them saying “I bought it before he went crazy” near us. He's managed to alienate his his entire demographic. Apparently they are going to make all their cash from his w
orker robots. $30k and can work 20 hours a day for 3 to 5 years.
Its hard to believe any of his forecasts for the future.
Remember the self driving cars that were just around the corner.
There have been other players developing robots for years, but i guess they didn't have the advantage of having a megagenious running the show.
Buying a car because you get the horn over the carmaker's CEO is pretty stupid, and people not buying a car because they no longer like Musk shows that there were a lot on that bandwagon.
People who bought Fords in the 60s didn't buy them because HenryIII was sexy.
People who bought Ferrarri's didn't do it because Enzo was a nice guy. ( He wasn't ).
Maybe Taylor Swift should buy some crappy chinese car company and Every female under 30 will buy one.
Younger than Ro, so good to have someone to hand over the mantle to.Still a good player and most importantly a different type of ruck to what we have.

Of course they did, the left loved him. Typically, they have turned on their own as they usually do, fantastic viewingThey had a jump on the EV market and had the best product for ages. I doubt anyone loved Musk enough to by a car because of him. His brand is now tainted by his political views. You equally wouldn’t want a Putin mobile or a Pol Pot wagon.
