Played his best career year in 2022 as a winger/midfielder. Was a tough competitor then and kicked a few goals.
Think JOM coming changed everything. Not sure why though, offers nothing more then Aish in 2022/2023. Guess have to wait until end of 2026 and have fresh options

Unfortunately I’m not sure anyone on our list bar Sharp can play fat side wing. NOD probably can but we’d prefer him on the skinny side.

So Aish is competing with Johnno, JOM and NOD for a wing/midfield position. And he ain’t playing in front of any of them.

I like Aish. He’s dependable and gives all he’s got. But it’s not some grand conspiracy that he’s not playing.

Have two away games coming up. Young haven’t played or train any footy in nearly 2 months. He definitely needs a spell at Peel with Darcy.

None of those players listed play in the positions that Brodie and Aish occupy. JOM (if you go by coaches votes) was our third best player over the first two rounds so of course he comes straight back in

Look, I think some here overrate Aish and forget that he was pretty poor after like Round 7. It seems like he's physically lost a bit, and he didn't have much to work with in the first place. But at least they get the type of player he is right.

If someone wants to big up Brodie's contest work, pretend he's the same player he was in 2022, only read WAFL disposal numbers, and forget that in his games in 2023 we got destroyed in the contest way worse than the games he didn't play, that's one thing. But I've seen suggestions of Brodie to play fwd, wing, tagger. That's just another level of delusional fanboying.

The fact that it is gloomy and overcast on any given day in Albany is not going to give you much clue to what's happing in rest of the state north of a line drawn more or less between the Mt Barker Golf Club and Halls Rock.

Not a problem if Young plays at Peel. Less likely to be injured there than doing extra training sessions necessary to achieve AFL fitness.

JOM and Wagner in the 22. Banfield the sub. Worner and Aish outside the 23. This was the team for the derby before JOM and Wagner were late withdrawals, and a 95% chance that's what it will be this week barring any more late withdrawals (e.g. Sharp).
