They're only missing on piece really, a zippy little forward/mid. They monster sides in the centre. The defence is good. The twins up forward just need a bit of discipline and a bit of help.

Mmmm, hard disagree. It's their entire forward line, bar Curnow. I think given how shit their smalls are, they need to go back to an extra tall forward line, that at least has some talent. Kemp and L. Young are not getting it done. Kemp also can play forward, but I think he's better back. Z. Williams also looked good as a small forward, but then they've put him back again?

When McKay comes back, get TDK in the forward line for half the game, and bring Pittonet back in to tandem with him. Stick Zilliams forward, and play Walsh or Cerra at half-forward, coming up to the contest as an extra mid. Play Docherty on a wing where he can use his running power, instead of getting exposed down back. Put Haynes and Young back in the VFL. Bring Boyd back into the 23 - no idea what he did wrong.

End up with something like this:

I couldn’t agree more. I would replace his assistant coaches and surround him with more senior coaching experience. Bring in James Hird as Head of High Performance and make Mark Neeld the Director of Coaching.

Sam Walsh developed his game as a junior to maximise his own disposal count. He got rewarded and praised for this.

Sadly he hasn't adjusted his game to adult AFL football and still plays the same game of a little kid. Running around in circles trying to get maximum stats.

He's actually a liability.
