I can read ken like a boak in this instance, my view is unpopular.

So, As we can see with the team above we have 6 defenders on field+logan evans bench, i think that the 7th defender is acutally jase burgyone, meaing moraes is on one wing, and mead/drew/wines share the second wing, a little like periods of last year when boak was out. Butters being in forces a reduction in mid minutes for mead,wines,boak.

Maybe it will, but when he's totally unprepared, he is likely to be significantly off the pace, fumbly, unfit, etc. Just as Soldo was. He goes in, embarrasses himself and gets dropped next week, and it achieved nothing. He's already a barely SANFL player as it is, so to force him up a level when unprepared is a risk.

I hope it pays off, I hope he gets his confidence up with some nice lace out passes and he holds his spot. Im just not convinced that picking under done players at this stage is in anyway a recipe for success.

I like giving Lord another go , . He’s taking a while to develop but still worth putting some games into , could be a handy player in a year or two , he’s just got to show enough so that we persevere with him . Physically he’s got the goods , his attitude seems good just whether he’s got the rest , the marking ability mainly I guess , you can’t be a successful tall forward if you can’t mark .
