Seems like for the most part I understand the Lua scripts and could change the things that need changing. My only problem is that I can't actually get them into the game. I've tried unpacking the blobset files and repacking the modded ones with the blobset editor which does nothing. I've also tried using the lua scripts packer which also doesnt work. Not sure if im just doing something wrong but will work on it when I have spare time. Im sure someone else has been down this path already so hopefully someone see's this and can tell me if im wasting my time.

If I can work out how to put the updated lua scripts into the game we could easily have higher dificulties, reduce or increase the frequency of mechanics like spoiling and also implement the stand rule.
 
Had some success with getting the scripts into the game. I went from winning games against the AI by 70-90 points to losing by the same amount. I've slowly dialed back attributes until It felt realistic and now Im winning or losing depending on which team im playing as or against. I've had one win with a kick after the siren and also a draw that ended the same way.

I also made it so you can't move off the mark anymore, increased the deliberate out of bounds calls, increased tackle breaking for AI and human and decreased spoiling. Tbh I like this a lot more then the newer AFL games. Still a few more things that need polishing though. I've made lists for Brisbane, GWS, Richmond and Port so still a long way to go in that regard
 
Anyone know how I can get past this screen? How does one get a product key?

Haven't seen this posted clearly anywhere but apologies if its already widely known. If you're looking to play AFL Live on PC you can download the ISO from this website https://archive.org/details/afl-live. You can then use this GFWL remover I found for Fable 3 into your game directory to get around the product code screen.

Looking into whats doable in terms of modding the gameplay so if anyone else has looked into it themselves id be keen to have a chat. Great game but the AI needs buffing

Nice, do you plan on sharing your modded files so we could try that, too? Also, could you make it so the ball carrier can outrun the opponent and bouncing is done by pressing a button?
