Game day, bitches!

Starting off the day bright and early with a trek down to the banks of the River Torrens, in the shadow of the iconic Adelaide Oval, for a Sunrise broadcast. Let’s clip the Swannies wings.

It felt totally weird, and a bit cringe, to actually be on TV today - even in the background, especially in the Shane Warne Legacy health check segment. I'm surprised my ugly mug didn't break the camera. :tongueclosed:

I’ve done the trek at night - never this early, (almost qualifies as night 🤣).
It really is amazing, love that ground!

I've got laryngitis, but flying out tomorrow morning. My screaming at the game I'll have to keep to a minimum lol
Get on the beers early Jen, fix you right up 🍺

I still think Sydney play McCartin as a back, with the triple M treat requiring them to play an established tall there.
If so, Frampton and Moore can manage the remaining talls in Amartey and McLean.
I view Blakey remains one of the more challenging matchups. I'd like to see a Fly curve ball and play Howe on Blakey as a defensive forward then task McCreery at HFF to curb Blakey's offensive line-breaking run. Blakey sets up so much of their offensive drives.
As a result, I'd bring in Markov off the EMG list ahead of Membrey, giving us another defensive option.
We can't play every game as predictably as we have. If Sydney ends up being a top 8 team or even top 4, I'd rather try this early than during a finals campaign and keep the opposition coaches guessing.

So, in the first paragraph you call the triple M threat will send McCartin back.
Following up a couple of paragraphs later making a late change with Memebrey going out.
Way to keep the opposition coaches guessing

Would love Nick to hit the scoreboard tonight, only 1.3 for the season so far and hasn't hit his straps this season, will get stalked by Jordan all game which is no suprise so I'm hoping he can get on the end of a few forward stoppages and exploit Jordan in that area 🤞 same with DC 0 goals for the year but super capable up forward and a lovely kick for goal so we need some offensive output from these types of guys.. we have the team to score big but Sydney are a great team at clamping scoring chains aswell.
I feel it will be a real arm wrestle for momentum but even with our massive 3 gun outs we can stretch the swannies for firepower if we have a collective buy in.
Go pies!

I come home from games sounding like I have laryngitis lol
I appreciate people like you. It more than makes up for people like me who can barely utter a peep.

DC’s game at the moment of dropping back in the hole to allow our half backs to push up the ground has been invaluable.

Would rather DC collect 3 or 4 intercept marks than push forward and kick a snag. McStay, Checkers and Membrey are enough down there imo

No shocks with the changes. What I expected.

Sydney’s been our bogey team in the McRae era with 1 win, 4 losses so here’s hoping we can turn the tide against them.

Just glad Lumumba no longer plays for your mob as we always made him look like an all time superstar.

Another big game and 100 games for DC :fire:
Some big outs this week but hopefully we have the depth to get the win, Swans also have some outs as well.
Hopefully we can kick straight this week and get to 4-1.
Who can forget the :goat: 3rd all time on games record

Pies 27pts
Billy Elliott to have a big game as well :)

I’ve also gone the Pies by 27.
