The draft pick that never dies, like a vampire zombie it keeps coming back.With how things have played out, I think we've merely kicked the can down the road. We would have known at the time we traded pick 3 that we were likely to finish near the bottom of the ladder and had the possibility of another top pick with Oscar Allen moving on so we've focused on middle-aged players and amassing draft picks. I know sentiment is low at the moment but premierships are built on more than a single draft pick.
It's joined the illustrious company of the Kelly trade in the dark annals of football trading.
