Someone, probably Dunkley, will be very defensive on him at stoppage. You've got to be. I don't know what they'll do outside of stoppage. I don't think they've got anyone suitable to run with him outside of stoppage.

The Hewett role. Which worked extremely well for a half. I’d say it’ll be Levi that goes with him in open play so he can pick up a few things and not compromise how they want to play in transition (he’s more bit part than key cog for now).

That’s ok too
But I am pretty pro WHE and don’t think he’s an ideal sub when he can run all day long. He’s also a better ball user than Sullivan so I think it’s preferred to have Hyphen wherever he’s needed on the ground for the full game

If it happens I think it'd be a tall as sub with a plan to give Cameron a lighter workload. And if we cop an injury to a runner, Elliott to player higher up the ground and Membrey into Elliott's role.

Elliott is moving well enough to do some damage up field if it went that way and it would settle McStay, but with JDG back I had assumed he’d play forward and I think this would shred that. I do like the ability to ease Cameron’s workload though.

It just feels square peg round hole with no Shoota and then if it were doubled down by needing to move Elliott. Alert not alarmed really because I’ll take Jen at her word. At the end of the day I wouldn’t have taken Cox as an emergency if I wasn’t planning on using him. The easy answer though is that one of McStay and Membrey will be managed.

We said we would manage the older players through the year, and it’s the right strategy. We will miss the skunk, but long-term thinking will set us up for success.
