I don't have the problems with him that some do but I'm a bit surprised is all unless we rotate Hamling or him forward to cover McLean when he's in the ruck. Hope we continue to run Grundy at about 70%. Will watch with interest.

Francis inclusion is a puzzling one. If McCartin goes forward will he as well? If that's the case, I feel Ladhams was chipping away alright the last 2 weeks.

I don't mind giving Francis a go. It rewards reserves form and continues the trend of giving opportunities to the full list.
Also if they need to rest Rampe later in the season. I think it will be guys like Fox/Francis that would be best suited as the 3rd tall defender.

Exactly and should have been given a couple more. His endeavour was certainly not wanting. Also looked really happy to play a work horse type role up forward. Disappointing he is out.

I reckon Francis will be sub, I know he's tall and I don't like it but I assume they want Gus to play a full VFL game instead of sub again. Francis will come on for a tall unless another player is hurt.

Hayward needs to turn up , I know Mclean kicked 3 last week but he was ordinary imo.

Hamling forward/Francis back if i had to guess Port dont really have many talls and i think Hamling is a better forward than Francis.
When you reach the depths of Francis level players there is not much left other than giving Buller a debut

Hayward does show up but he needs to nail his opportunities otherwise it looks like he has had a stinker.
He is in a good position most of the time 30-40m infront or slight angle.
