Hayward does show up but he needs to nail his opportunities otherwise it looks like he has had a stinker.

He is in a good position most of the time 30-40m infront or slight angle.

We need his best

With Gus out I think that the midfield rotations will be tighter and don't know if they want Juzzy in there for the first game so expecting Cleary to be rewarded for his game last week with some more mid time.

I just expect Hanily to be sub as Cox imo loves Corey Warner and his versatility

If Francis plays forward, my recollection was that he was pretty good at getting in the right position and could take a mark. His weaknesses were his conversions and applying forward pressure.

I’m curious how he will go this week, and where he will be played. He has clearly been plugging away and has impressed the coaches. I hope he comes good and surprises us all.

Its why im so surprised to see Ladlams dropped
Im surprised to see Ladhams dropped as well but are people forgetting that the Grundy and McLean pair was statistically the best ruck combo in the bloody comp. 1st in HO differential and 2nd in HOA differential in 2024

Notice that the odds for this game are Swans 1.45 Port 2.76. Given the players who are out for us and how well Port played last week, it should be the other way around. Am i missing something?

Which Port are turning up? The one that beat the Hawks or the one that was flogged by the Saints? Odds are right

I will admit, I've never been a fan of Francis.

However, his last games against North in VFL was very good. He was up to his usual VFL self, taking plenty of intercept marks but what was even more impressive was how clean his disposals were. Certainly a surprise as I've seen plenty of sloppy games of his. Hopefully we brings this version of himself on Sunday.

Well this is it for Jmac. No more excuses. He better start tackling and making them stick, chasing hard and winning his own footy.

He should ask Wicks for advice.

I’m not convinced and will be watching him very closely. Sheldrick a bit stiff here.

Ladhams very unlucky - feel sorry for him whilst the turtle on Valium in Maclean gets another shot . And with respect to Francis, words fail me. If Francis is ever the answer then what on earth is the question ?

I like fast players.
