Hayward does show up but he needs to nail his opportunities otherwise it looks like he has had a stinker.
He is in a good position most of the time 30-40m infront or slight angle.
We need his best

Midfield need to win this , Heeney, Warner
He did and wasn't good at it.Can't remember but did Horse play Francis forward at any point? If plays, surely needs to actually do something in the B22.

Has he been any good as a Defender though? Our depth ain't the best.He did and wasn't good at it.
He reads the flight of the ball generally I'll give him that. But we have Melican and Hamling in, we don't need him, I'd rather go small and apply pressure.Has he been any good as a Defender though? Our depth ain't the best.
Grundy to ruck 99% of the time and be cooked by half time again. Lovely!
Im surprised to see Ladhams dropped as well but are people forgetting that the Grundy and McLean pair was statistically the best ruck combo in the bloody comp. 1st in HO differential and 2nd in HOA differential in 2024Its why im so surprised to see Ladlams dropped
Notice that the odds for this game are Swans 1.45 Port 2.76. Given the players who are out for us and how well Port played last week, it should be the other way around. Am i missing something? If Francis plays forward, my recollection was that he was pretty good at getting in the right position and could take a mark. His weaknesses were his conversions and applying forward pressure.
I’m curious how he will go this week, and where he will be played. He has clearly been plugging away and has impressed the coaches. I hope he comes good and surprises us all.

We’ve won two games one was against North, not sure why you think we are some sort of force atm.Which Port are turning up? The one that beat the Hawks or the one that was flogged by the Saints? Odds are right

I will admit, I've never been a fan of Francis. If Francis plays forward, my recollection was that he was pretty good at getting in the right position and could take a mark. His weaknesses were his conversions and applying forward pressure.

Not a typo Wolfie, I meant to write D'Artamon (buchanan- forwards coach)I think you mean D'Artagnan. Which one is he? LOL. Papley? Amartey?
