I am buzzing. That was grit. Things went against us everywhere, and we still held it together and worked for each other.

Chalk and cheese between our effort this week compared to last week.

I remember many games where umpiring went against us and the team would start second guessing, overthinking and losing.

We didn't let a very poor umpiring night get inside out heads.

More please

Great game. We had it won early, then had to completely change structure due to injury, had to knuckle down and held on

There is something about this team I don't remember seeing in a Carlton squad in 20-odd years.

Dare I say it, I think we are well coached. Our defence is rock solid. We moved the ball well. We can play fast and chaotic or slow and calm and seem to have good game sense. Our center clearances are chefs kiss. We never seem to give up last minute goals. We have held leads comfortably late against both Geelong and St Kilda. We actually held on after losing 4 players to injury.

It's not a premiership team, clearly. Too many young guys and not quite enough depth. But it could be the team before the team, if that makes sense. A mid table team with flaws that adds a piece or two, has a couple of young guys find their feet, and challenges seriously next year or the year after...

I don’t know if Jaxon Binns will make it, but he gut runned the whole game. He lacks composure, but we need to persist.
His tank was likely pretty important for this game given what transpired.

They all have their flaws but him, Blacres, Ollie, Walsh etc all run all day which must have been critical.

Seems Mots may have more of a tank than I thought. With everyone slowing down late, he was able to put the pedal down a bit and was very handy.

I don’t think so. He’s a depth player at best and I only ever see him getting a look when the cupboard is bare.

You simply cannot pick players who are that bad with ball in hand.

Nice goal though.
I doubt he gets dropped after that game. But you may be right. His disposal is very hit miss and he struggles to lay a tackle. And, yes, he made more than one error. But he kicked a goal, nearly kicked a second and never dropped his head.

He was quiet tonight but Elijah Hollands is really important to us and we just win he plays.

TDK to me is already gone and just going through the motions.

From their Autopsy thread 😂😂😂

Thought we were probably the better team
On the night. Just butchered it at the wrong time and they had 4 dodgey free kicks that resulted in goals. They won’t achieve anything

Man, they were kissed on the you know what all night, they're in fantasy land

Both his shoulders are stuffed don’t think he’ll be resting as it is what it is. They’ll just keep popping them in with a jab for the rest of the season.
At the end of the year send him off to the same doctor that fixed 1AW's shoulders... if the guy is still practicing.
