Would prefer high quality footballers over antagonists

I loved the way Stocker played. So hard at the contest always. Shame it didn't work out but quite a few players need that wake up call of getting desisted. He definitely needed it by all reports. Anyway good luck to him.

SOS did not do his due diligence but not sure he would ever have been worth pick 19. Talent is really mid.

Good win after last week and under difficult circumstances. Hopefully some of the injured get up for next week. Wanted to smash them early in the game when we gained ascendancy and four goals up but we were limited in what we could do given available personnel.

We were solid all night. Why we could not have played with that intensity against the Crows I don't know.

A good team performance.

I think Lewis has a future as a forward. Seems to attack the contest a lot harder at that end of the ground. Two goals from him were invaluable and I'm not sure we needed to move him back to defence given we still had three tall defenders. He can play as a forward and alternate with Harry in providing ruck relief.

JSOS seamlessly slotted back into defence. Very calm and assured and a good ball user. Best thing about him is that he hates being beaten.

We have a big opportunity over the next couple of weeks to solidify our ladder position. Will we step up, I bloody hope so.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but credit to Walshy last night. I wasn't able to catch the entire game, however what I saw from Walsh was exactly what we need from him. Seemed to be able to burst away and his disposal was much more damaging than it has been. Long may it continue.
I thought he was great. I would prefer a stat sheet like the one he had on Friday to a higher volumes high turnover game that we’ve seen from him in the past. Let’s hope he continues to have games like Friday because Carlton is at its best when Walsh has a good game.

We delisted him. He trained on with St Kilda. Let's not make up stuff.
I stand corrected, I thought he was the guy that "quit footy" only to suddenly end up on another list.

I stand by the who cares part though, he's an Aints player now and isn't much chop.

Gutsy win.

It is kind of ironic that Young defends well but is not attaching enough to be a regular backman in the side, so we play him
as a forward.

Good to see Binns get a go. After a couple of bad moments ( it is ok to rush a behind rather than hack kick and poor decision to go for goal) play his role. While he didn't get much easy ball in the second half he did his job in tight when he needed to.

Hope Gov is OK as he was lazering kicks early.

As a neutral, it was a horrible game to watch.
Also as a neutral, for Spud's game, I thought it was fitting and wonderful that Harry kicked the sealer.

Cant imagine the game being high on the replay agenda but well done on the four points.
Already watched the Kayo replay… might watch the AFL on demand replay today.

He’s been sensational the last 8 weeks, it just beggars belief how bad he was in round 1. Complete head scratcher wtf moments.
Wouldn't have played too many games in front of 80 thousand, and then playing in a new team who were collectively losing their heads.
Was a shocker no doubt, but was a 1 off.

'Saints footy' sucks the life out of the game as expected by Ross The Toss coached teams.
