Attacking mid with good skills is fine with me :)

1000%

You could argue that’s what we need more of in comparison to a first hands on it, clearance midfielder.

I want about 3 more of the type described above (basically a Martin attack in ability with at least just an occasional consideration/thought of where to be defensively)

Powder keg leg for a little tacker.

Bit of a Kane Farrell vibe to it given there is nothing of him but he just times it so pure

As an Essendon tragic I occasionally indulge in producing something for my people. Son of the great Darren Bewick, Koby Bewick has been hyped for years coming up through the junior grades and here we see his arrival at the elite level, debuting for the Cannons at 15 years old and just quietly going about his business with an excellent first up performance.

Great to see them all get around him after his 1st goal. Genuinely excited to watch Koby's development.

Yeah with a leg like that you could leave him on HBF in an attacking role in his first year or two, like Naicos & Sheezel were

In addition;

Any tattoos?

Good student?

Can't say for sure but doubt it, this was a year 8 class. Quite often you get sporty kids that hate school and just want to be outside playing sport. They can get quite restless in the classroom. You also have the sporty kids that acknowledge the importance of school as a whole. Koby falls into the second category.

Most importantly; APS/AGSV school?

Strathmore is a government/public school. Being a PE teacher, I got to know the sports facilities well. The oval (I believe belongs to Moonee Valley City Council), is in terrible condition. You struggle to walk on it, let alone run. They have a multi-purpose synthetic turf, a netball court and basketball gymnasium, which is always locked during lunchtime. I don't agree with this and I've worked at other schools that allow their students in the gym during lunchtime, as long as they are supervised. Whenever they gave me a spare set of gym keys, I'd try open up the gym for the kids. I've observed both Koby and Jad play bball and like most footy kids, their skills transfer over.

I believe Koby is at pegs now on scholarship. A few schools were chasing him.

As well as MOTY

Sweid has been Mister Consistent so far this season, producing solid performances every time he's stepped onto the field. Here he had some issues with his disposal but was strong and tough on the inside as he always is, winning the ball and generating forward momentum for his team. While he was only credited with 4 tackles I felt that his pressure around the ground was excellent, creating a number of rushed possessions and turnovers.
