We can and do win periods on account of great pressure...but when that inevitably drops, which teams can be assured of, they know they can wrestle back control.

A largely same same midfield group who aren't going to cut you apart with pace or precision, and provide limited defensive pressure.

Four forward pockets, none of whom are quick, particularly aerobic, capable of winning much ball, or generating offense from nothing.

No one who exceeds honest battler status on the flanks or wings...none of whom have game changing ability...like Blakey did to us last week.

A largely conservative match committee and coaching panel.who aren't going to throw up too many surprises.

We must be very easy to coach against.

Sometimes I think if it's actually the players having too much freedom to decide who's in and out of the team, how stoppage play is set up, etc. Cripps doesn't seem to have much tactical nous, maybe time to reign the players in if that's the case?

I'm a little frustrated in the Motlop hate this time.

9 disposals, 6 tackles and a goal.

Durds meanwhile had 6 disposals, 2 tackles and not a ripple on the scoreboard.

I watched Mots carefully this week because he is copping it on facebook and on here. A poor kick, a dropped mark, but lots of heart and effort. I'm not sure why he's the only small forward singled out every week.

He spends considerable time up the ground ODN and cannot get 10 possies - today's 9 might be a season high actually
The goal was absolute luck as he dropped a mark from a good White kick and the defender then crunched him - I have to give him credit for presenting but there was another time when he flew for a big pack mark and although I am unlikely to watch a replay, I would doubt that he should have been flying.
His problem is that he has ZERO football smarts. White has his critics but with only 8 games under his belt, he is a mile ahead of Motlop because he understands the game
He isn't the only small forward singled out every week but he has been bad every week because he AINT GOT IT

Gets in space, ignores a first option, goes for checkside kick frmo 50 under pressure and turns it over. Should have been subbed there and then. Awareness is terrible for dare I say an indigenous player. Not fast.

Please just let TDK go.
I really don't want him to be our No.1 ruckman. He is unreliable.
This is his 7th year in the system. He can't even do the basic things right.

Also poor for culture. We have Charlie and Harry getting paid 800k to be inconsistent and Charlie to do a nice thing or two a game with nothing much else. Paying him 1million would be beyond stupidity and team soul destroying especially when we have a blood and guts player in JSOS making bubkas in comparison and doesn’t even have a contract offer yet (despicable).

Wright hopefully sees this and addresses it soon.

I thought Motlops role was a small forward? I was at the game a saw something that was quite funny. At a few stages of the game Leer was on him,Leer would lead for the incoming ball and Motlop was chasing him from behind. What the he'll is that???

I bag Jesse out often, but the level of it is hysterical of late. He is the whipping boy of our times. Our supporters seem to need one. They won't ever recognise anything decent he does. 6 tackles? Nothing?
