I'm thinking we maybe had an eye on him last year to draft and then his injury curtailed that.
Seems to have recovered well from said injury so the plans and roles he could provide are probably still there.
Instead of risking a draft pick on an injured player we were able to wait, see how he recovered and still draft him.

It's the opposite effect for me. Wasn't expecting much but after the highlights I'm pleasantly surprised. I've seen way worse highlights for actual draftees let alone a MSD one.
