If Dangerfield is to be playing forward, I think we need to look at the total personal up there and that someone has to come out

While it's obvious Jezza has enjoyed the last few weeks, it was also suggested that Henry should enjoy it more without Dangerfield up forward but not sure if that's really how things played out for him

He did show some promising signs against WCE but also some head against wall moments - is this the week to give a week off managed and see how our the forward line looks with one less forward target?
So, resting JC or OH?
JC could benefit from a break given his patchy albeit brilliant form?
OH needs time after time.

Resting JC is not the sort of game Chris plays. If his body is hanging by a thread he'll have a week off. Look at Cameron's history since coming to Geelong.

Jezza also has a "hot hand (foot)" right now. Disrupting his momentum would be harmful for player and club.

Henry to the VFL would seem a popular choice, but a week off "managed" more likely

Not to mention how critical this game is, in the scheme of things. Cannot afford to sacrifice the quality of the list this week.
Without Jeremy's goals, we'd have come dangerously close to losing to West Coast.

True, but we were saying similar things about Danger before he went out, and how many losses in his absence?
JC is just as vital, but a short turnaround from WA....?

This season we're undefeated in Dangerfield's absence or when he spent the majority of the match on the sidelines

Find me the last time JC was rested. It has not happened once in 4.5 years. He has only missed when suffering concussion or has a legitimate injury. He is moving extremely well and is clearly loving his footy. You're way off track on this one.

I was just clarifying which of the 2 was being proposed for the rest.
I don't think either- we will def need OH in the team in September; so he needs to get up to scratch, and not in the VFL.
Meanwhile, JC stays in by all reckoning- it wasn't clear to me who cats_09 was referring to, then I took that for a run.

We are not in a position really to flirt with players in our 22. We dont havd the depth to do that and we also arent in that great a position to do it either sitting 5th at a crtical point of the season.

I say critical because i think how we go from here often plays in the mind of the team what they are aiming for and how ambitious they may or may not be.

Knowing your club has a top 4 chance as opposed to Finishing 6-8th is more motivational and belief building imo

This is the sort of game that we usually win!

And WTF are Suns wearing the pink strip in a game where there is absolutely no clash

Bring on the Navy Shorts!!

We didn't need to see that.

Haha low lights more like it. We used to join their cheap membership and go up, for a good weekend and as a back up in case we played them in finals. Maybe this year they make it, but not at our expense.

They could have been asked to wear their "traditional" red kit which would have been red guernsey & red shorts, in which case we're still going to be wearing white shorts

Erk that pinky colour is gross. They have black shorts too, so maybe no navy for us?

We wear Navy when they are in red

As bad as he's going O Henry still kicked 2..
Only 6 touches but 4 tackles
He's not that far from turning it around imo..
yeah it’s a tough one he’s clearly a confidence player and Stengles and Jez were in a form slump too recently

Sometimes you just have to back the player in to turn it around …but it’s getting to be a concern atm

I see Neale popping up in that list
