Bews in for Neale. Going to finally release Bews in his last Cats game as a KPF. About time.

More likely bews to the defence and sdk or dangerfield as the target forward i would say. But will be nice to see bews for the last time.

Jack Henry might push forward.

Knevitt, Clark & Bews look to be the likely emergencies - Bews getting the nod this week after not playing last week, and thinking he'll be the one starting as the sub

Clohesy would seem to be next in line after that trio based on his inclusion on the emergency list this week - not sure we'll see OH or Duncan feature again this season, even on the emergency list

Maybe although I assume for most finals you would want at least one tall out of 3 emergencies (to cover all the bases required injury) although that could only really be Henry as our other talls are too raw.

Jack Henry might push forward.

He could although id probably let him build up form down back. Id move sdk if it was me. Although you might put him on balta and Henry or blitz on lynch.

This is an opinion that seems based on the presumption he's innocent.
He bumped a player, and the AFL don't like that. I think we were wise to take the week.
I've never actually argued against that at all. I was merely putting the view that it was unsurprising that some might think Neale's action was less culpable than Mihocek's, and were therefore wondering why his incident was not deemed worthy of action as well.

Nothing less and nothing more than that.

I'd have SDK on Lynch, COS on Balta with Blitz as the "break glass in case of emergency" option if one of them get off the chain.

Probably won't matter but I don't understand the lineup at all. And it's not because I have an issue with Bews playing in general. It's who he's come in for and how it leaves the ruck/fwd setup. And IF Stanley cops an injury I'll lose my shit. He does NOT need to be playing in this f#cking game. We don't even have glass bodied, underdone Conway to bring in.

Nice to see bews get a farewell game. I think its well deserved and hopefully as many of our members as possible can get there to see him play (likely the last time unless we get injuries). It's sad Duncan couldn't get a farewell game too but thats the nature of these things.

Has Bews said he's retiring? I must have missed that

This is a bizarre stat.

In 2022, we kicked a total of 359 goals for the season, and that's including finals.
Thus far this season we've kicked 342 goals. If we kick 18 or more goals on Saturday, we'd have kicked more goals this year than we did in our last premiership year in 2 less games.

He might be or not be but it will be his last year with us. It will be like Dahlhaus and rohan where they wanted to go on but got delisted.

Stanley is probably playing so they can manage blitz workload (who is also old) because otherwise blicavs will have nank bashing into him all day. Id bet that stanley is the player subbed out at 3/4 if we have no injuries. Conway is injured and Edwards and pike are nowhere near ready.

Possibly right but we have a week off after. And then another week off if we win our QF. Blicavs has shown himself to be pretty durable. Stanley not so much, and again we have absolutely no back up for him - well apart from Edwards which is another reason why he should be getting a crack v Tigers.

Edwards is nowhere near ready though he can barely run out vfl games. The reality is we needed neale out there to take ruck minutes if we were going to manage stanley so we have no choice to play him now. They will manage both him and blicavs during the week and both won't train much i assume.

There is the week off as well….
All 3 of Stanley, Blic and DeK are capable of sharing ruck duties.
