Big win over the Doggies in Thursday night footy sets up a mouthwatering clash between Hawthorn and the Crows in Launceston on a Friday night (which happens to be Friday the 13th). Unlucky for one team, perhaps?

Changes and preview discussion in here.

Watson and Scrim back probably, Maginness and Jiath out?

Worps inj??

Mod note: Worpel had a corkie. Sam says he battled with it through first half, but couldn’t get going, and should be right for Crows.

Not sure but interesting discussion

Based off of Mitchell's comments about Scrimma's ankle injury, it wouldn't shock me to see him given the same time frame as Sicily to recover from it. Worps is the watch this week with his cork to his thigh.
Watson will return next week, while Box Hill tomorrow will be an interesting watch to see who puts their hand up to put pressure on the incumbents from last night's game.

Exactly what I imagine we will do.

Sam spoke after the game about being stretched down back when Lobb went forward, he’d want extra tall in to cover their 3 tall forwards.

Worpel got a cork, long break so he should be fine.

Im sad that siss is injured. But the the flip side is Sam get 2 games against good teams to see how we stack up defensively. We looked great down back last nite. But let's see how we go against crows tall timber. Really excited about this game.

Wiz needs to come back in and likely Scrim if fit - I really hope we don’t drop either Shammy or Butler, both great contributors v dogs, which will only improve as they readjust to the level.

On the fence on Ramsden, looks great as as a back up ruck but I'm not convinced he's a viable forward and I absolutely love what Calsher brings in that role.

If it's not Scrimshaw either Serong or Frost have to play. Cannot have Walker or Fogarty with mismatches.

Watson, Scrimshaw in
Maginess, probably CJ out

if Scrim doesn’t get up then Serong to come in. Would rather keep Weddle free to roam rather than being forced to man Fogarty or Tex. He is our point of difference.
With Rankine, Rachele, Keays and ANB all capable when forward, Seamus needs to stay in.
Sam doesn’t seem like he’s going to throw Finn to Dawson so he’s gotta be one of the two to fall out. CJ was ok last night but would rather Butler get another week.

Nash will go to Dawson. Reckon Butts will go to Soligo.

I acknowledge this is incredibly stiff.

Ramsden, you did some nice things, I respect you've been toiling away at Box Hill, and I like that Sam rewarded VFL form, you deserved your inclusion.

BUT

I have an insatiable thirst for Calsher that simply must be quenched.

I cannot fight it. It's not you, it's me...

If he has a good game tomorrow than yes Calsher will be under consideration but otherwise Ramsden will stay.
