, we are still going to be 2nd on the ladder at the end of the round.Posting after these losses is as embarrassing as it gets, we made more mistakes in the last quarter than weāve made in years and lost by under a goalHilarious. This is one of those weeks where if you said the result at the start, after our effort vs Essendon and Adelaide vs the Swans everyone would be leaping over themselves to take it
But because of how it played out over the last three hours instead it's embarrassing, pathetic, shambles, etc etc etc.
We had every chance to get it through in the last but just because the commentators are shitting all over us that doesn't make it true - we were fighting a Lyons-esque flood so it's not like we were getting clean shots time and again.
Yes, true. However, Daniher playing tonight might have been the difference. We have no reliable long down the line target which has been a feature of our exits when we have struggled to get speed on the ball. Daniher, before that McStay, before that Martin or Walker. Hipwood isnāt that sort of player unfortunately. That's BS simply just didn't finish our work off by missing simple goals

I'm sure you have
A Daniher sized hole was the difference in us losing those 4 points. Cannot be replaced. We move on but I feel we may end up noticing such a hole again in the finals
Not me. I thought before the game we'd win it.Hilarious. This is one of those weeks where if you said the result at the start, after our effort vs Essendon and Adelaide vs the Swans everyone would be leaping over themselves to take it
Umm, did you watch Bailey's kicks at goal?We had every chance to get it through in the last but just because the commentators are shitting all over us that doesn't make it true - we were fighting a Lyons-esque flood so it's not like we were getting clean shots time and again.
Now imagine if we had McKenna or Reville as a sub. Completely different impact, Dev is just not good enough.
F## off follow someone else then....goal kicking embarrassing yes but I'm never ever embarrassed to support this club..deadset disgrace for any supporter to say that..Cant recall the last time I've felt so embarrassed to support this club
No excuses
Just a tad hyperbolic there NB, we are still going to be 2nd on the ladder at the end of the round.
I was talking specifically about the last 15 minutes. When we had the ball locked inside our forward half. He was nowhere near the contests and easily held out.Hipwood was playing up the ground for most of it. It's ok if you weren't watching close enough to notice him working hard enough to be getting in the contest around the half back line and the wings.
Zac was ineffective but he was at least getting the ball... Would you rather zero lessons, zero clangers or 21 possessions, eight clangers and six score involvements. Because as a board we love crapping on those that try and fail half the time over those who don't do anything. There was a few average games but a special shout out to Zac. He had a few shockers last year but that was next level shit tonight. If he wasnāt giving away free kicks he was turning it over. Had a good year, but that was a real shocker tonight, went back to trying to do to much.
Dev just is not good at kicking simple... he seems like he doesn't want to kick. Now imagine if we had McKenna or Reville as a sub. Completely different impact, Dev is just not good enough.
Mind you I'm from Adelaide
The saints loss 20 years ago was tough and there was a 20 goal loss to the crows a while back but unfortunately the players aren't willing to put in hard enough and we're crumbling far too often to be a legitimate threat
