Loul hasn’t been playing backline all year in the VFL. So someone is going to have to switch positions into that spot.

There’s a few options there but there isn’t a like for like swap so it’s natural to expect a reshuffle if not at the opening bounce when it becomes clear it’s not working

I've been so disillusioned that I've wondered if our clubs shouldn't merge.
Yep. That's a terrible place place to be that I could even think that.
NOt sure if you have a modern game style- We do not.
I expect our teams will drag each other down to a slog fest and who knows the winner.
Perhaps you lot, with an exciting debut player. Perhaps us with a debut player too...preparing the kid to take a place when TDK leaves.
Anyway, like a fool I look forward to our games and always hope we smash you.

True, problem is both clubs have such a huge and loyal fan base that the AFL can cash in regardless, even when we’re both performing cr*p (aka the last 25 years)

Blues are #1 in the comp for average contested possessions and we are #1 in the comp for average uncontested possessions. Their game is built on scrappy footy which is made for wet weather whereas we're built for dry footy. We suck in the wet.
