Richmond are travelling ok. We're at their level. Could go either way in a close one and I don't really care whether we win or not. It's all about what we do in the off-season and developing our players.

Surely Laverde is out. There is no need for him to be in the side with Richmond's forwardline especially after that performance.
I'd also bring Tsatas in. Would have brought Johnson, but he hasn't played in a couple of weeks so probably one more game in the VFL.

They must really rate this kid internally, only been back a few weeks from a shoulder and still looks a bit raw but has genuine talent. Watched him a few weeks ago against north in the vfl (his first game back) and he just oozed class.

I see this comment every time he plays a kid, there are 2 AFL clubs supporter bases that genuinely believe Brad has a reputation of not playing kids as often as he could and that he backs senior players too much. He only recently (2025) started to play the kids.

He has undoubtedly done so this year. The frustration came last year when guys like Archie and Hayes either took the whole season to debut or didn’t at all.
