Would this be the youngest side we've ever fielded?

Would have to go close, if they rested goldy and went with vigo I reckon it would almost have to be

As a random point in time Round 1 93 was 23 years 119 days.

No idea if that is the youngest but it was first game of the baby bombers season.

Tsatas will go into the middle and I reckon Durham will basically play centre half forward.

Far from the worst idea, great opportunity for Tsatas to learn from Neale, Dunkley and co.

I suspect that either Merrett, Setterfield (pseudo-tall) or Clarke will end up being in defence. I think Setterfield the most likely as we're still playing Tsatas, Caldwell, Merrett, Hobbs, Durham and Martin as potential centre square mids.

All week ive heard about how johnson will possibly be used as a distributor off half back, and now seeing the team sheets I can see thats also where hes been named, is that what we can expect from him? And regarding Angus clarke i loved his contribution last week but ive seen talk of him being used back in defence, back on the wing, and also being kept forward, i cant get a read on it lol what do people think, how do you guys think it is most likely that they will be used? so excited for them

Well, the absence of Shiel and Parish suggests that the youngsters are Scott’s priority even though the reigning premiers are big, conditioned bodies. Sorta goes against the supposed Scott selection philosophy.
Suspect Parish will come straight back in if he has a decent hit out in VFL. No point risking him against Lions after all this time in a game we will not win.

Get real.
Darcy was never going to play seniors this week off a 5 day break. After his 1st game of the season and having injuries.
Even Brad scott isn't that stupid.
He will comeback against Liam McMahon's old mob

Very light on in defence - maybe Martin plays back there? We could line up something like;-

Prior Lav McGrath
Martin Redman Roberts
Durham Setters Duursma
Clarke Caddy Guelfi
Perkins 2MP Kako

Goldy Caldwell Merrett

Bench: Tsatas Hobbs Gresham Johnson
SUB: ADW

Let’s hope we can be competitive- anything under a 10 goal loss would be OK…

If he deserves a spot. The days of this guy's entitlement are over
