As far as selection goes I am not fussed if they do not pick Johnson. Good luck to him if they do but he has had a good level of AFL exposure.
Would be more inclined to see Davey at half back based on his VFL form in the last 3 weeks.

All I can say is that it’s been a nightmare season for Essendon and at least they tried to turn it into a positive by debuting the vfl side and new recruits from the MSD. It’s in the history books now for sure.
And if these injuries hadn’t occurred prob wouldn’t have played as many but hopefully it gives the club valuable insight re trade/delist/develop for the entire group etc. I’m expecting a clean out tbh and who stays and goes will be interesting.

By my reckoning we have 7 of our actual best 22 in.

I guess the positive is that our late year fade out hasn't been due to tiredness.
