If there was one position that would be fine after a 5 day break, it's his. I'd see a lot more benefit in starting him and subbing in Levi for more run and ball winning in the fourth.

Could see us sticking to and wanting an extra winger starting to provide flexibility to move Berry as well

I don't see it as illogical.
First, he is a low possession (for VFL) but is a goal kicker in the VFL.
This year i have only watched a few VFL games but posters that go to the games say he can't tackle.
Looked at his tackle stats 0, 2, 2, 0, 0, 0.
So, he is not really a like for like defensive forward similar to Ah -Chee.

I prefer him as sub (only because he is named in the team) and not needed if things all go smoothly.
He could very well start on field and if he does i hope he does well.
He would need to improve though.

Like we scared to tackle.. Then they end up side stepping or just running through the player.
I say we up there for the worst tackling team bar a couple of players.

I remember Neil saying it was a deliberate tactic they used to beat the Hawk duck, it's certainly an arrow to have in your quiver but not as a go to.

I am the opposite way of thinking.
I would play Levi as he is proven at this level and gives us more flexibility. Levi gives us more run for over 3/4 of the game compared to just 1 fourth quarter. That's assuming he is the one that gets subbed off.
It could be Lohmann subbed off if he struggles again or Lohmann could start as sub in case McLachlan (if he starts on field) is struggling.

I would just have Bailey playing majority forward and Levi sole wing/forward relief.
McLachlan or Lohmann sub. Whichever small forward is not producing comes off.
Of course, any injury to a tall stuffs everything up.

But we will not be having any injuries this week.

I think as good as Levi has been, he's looking gassed on the wing. Kid is in his first year and could use the break IMO.

..if we are in front at qtr time, I'll be worried of a run down later in the game.

Haven't been able to go into a game expecting a win pretty much all year.

We are so far off how we played last year its not funny
