That is some seriously lazy backing up from Alzarri Joseph at the non-striker end. He would have been run out if Starc got a finger tip on the follow-through there.

PS: Very next over he does get run out.

Woke early to see Josh Hazlewood destroy the Windies in the final hour of play. Aussies were earlier buoyed by 60s each from Carey, Head and Webster that had put us firmly in the driving seat given how difficult starting then scoring is against this Dukes cherry.

Hey guys say all the top order bat like Alex, Beau and Trav against this Dukes ball as survival is not the best option given sooner or later there is a ball with you name on it.
Travs twin 50s has won the Sth Aussie slugger the MOM. For mine Josh dead unlucky given his destructive 5fer today and 7 for the match.

Well that's really pretty sad on Shemar, could very well be the last time we see him, a promising player but that could be it.

Great to see the middle order hold up their end of the bargain. The selectors need to sort out this top order ASAP. I don't understand the hesitation to let Head bat at 3?

Had one eye on this throughout the night, but didn't really enjoy it. Obviously want Australia to win but also really want WI to emerge from their 30 year slumber. They really needed to be chasing 150, and bad luck yesterday played a part in that. But the Aussies batted brilliantly to put the game away from them, and glad to see our mid order show some fight to get the job done.

Good effort By WI who are being led by a guy who wasn't even in the best 11 12 months ago. i had hope for WI cricket but they are going no where atm which doesn't bother the board sadly. Shorter form rules the bottom line.

In saying that for WI they had good crowds for the match

Very odd for Chase to be skipper as he isn't in the best 6 batsmen.

Shai Hope should have been the choice , he is the best batsmen in that line up by a mile and skippers white ball sides. He got a ball keep low today but the guy can bat.

Really sad on Shamar, what a talent on the cricket field but if any of that is true he is gone which would be such a shame for WI cricket. At least they have Roach to come back in so bowling wise shouldn't be to bad still. What happened to Gabriel and Cornwell? Gabriel was a very underrated bowler and Cornwell didn't do to bad from what I saw in tests.
