I can't believe there has not been one nomination for the best brothers in history. Albert and Harry Collier.
Played in 12 Premierships between them (6 each) and both won a Brownlow.
When the next 10 years is done, Collingwood will have had the best 3 sets of brothers to have played the game:
J. Daicos and N. Daicos
G. Coventry and S. Coventry
A. Collier and H. Collier

I understand clubs like North or Kangaroos or whatever you are called these days not respecting history when your own history is so pathetic. You’re pretty chirpy for a supporter of a club that hasn’t won a flag in the 2000s. Your club seems not up to AFL standard. Perhaps you’re better suited to the Essendon District League where unfortunately you still won’t be the biggest club.
North supporters are sounding more and more like Carlton supporters every day.

Do you realise Collingwood have won more games this year than North have won post COVID?

They should just merge with Carlton, and they might just be able to field a semi-competitive team...

Gales and Nankervises might be being under rated itt, very fine servants and leaders too.

Of the non Collingwood, Abletts (Kev, Geoff and AS) the best and arguably the GOATS.

Of the Collingwood ones its so close, 2 generations of Pannam bros (both pairs had a Charlie and an Albert/Alby), but the Coventries were even better leaders and the Colliers won more flags. Colliers by a whisker?
We'll win our next one before you win your next.

You think your life is good because you support a club who relies on AFL executives bonuses determined by bums on seats. Ummm what an existence? I'm sure you're writing this from some government housing. A flag would be brilliant for you until you have to go home.

Alan Aylett rorted you two of those flags in the 70s with clever paperwork, don't talk about executive bonuses because half your flags come from Collingwood-robbing football socialism, and our bums on seats pays for your existence

We're richer than you because more idiots like me stump up for seasons tickets than anyone else, and minnow clubs beg to play us in big timeslots because we bring the crowds: its always been this way since 1897, it's why we were invited to found the VFL.It's our league, you just play in it and whinge about imaginary plots against you.

I don't want to extinguish any more clubs, but if you demand a fair draw 4-5 mobs will go out of the league like Fitzroy did, and it won't be us.

As for brothers, it's the Krakouers for you, is that it?

Don't disagree.

Yeah Jimmy and Phil have obviously got Colliers, Sid n Gordo are jets and Daicos' lads, no. No way Jose. Their records will be there for eternity. By the way Nick is a star, his brother shits me, but can play.

I had forgotten the Twoomeys and the Murphys.

Josh will win his second b&f this year, as Nick is carrying that foot thing. He's our secret weapon that feasts on the lack of attention.

The Colliers are both contenders for GOAT status as individuals. Jack Dyer said Liter was the only player who scared him, and he was the best defender in the best defence ever.

Harry was a godlike rover who was peer to Dick Reynolds and Haydn Bunton in the 1930s, known among footy historians as a Golden Age.

The fact they may be better than the legendary Conventrys, both enormously enduring matchwinning leaders is testament to the powerhouse the was The Machine.

Don't care. They are as relevant as a midfielder at Vermont Sth... probably a much worse comp too (for some context).

Goat, please (said you and ONLY you). The most biased nonsense I've ever read.

Ablett, Carey, Lockett, Matthews, Daylight for people with English as a first language and believe in evolution and random selection.

He is just hurting that both Colliers have won two more flags than his entire club.

Tell me you've heard of Dick Reynolds? Honestly, if you think Matthews is the best player ever you cannot have seen him play.

I am 42. So no, didn't see Dick play. In any case, wouldn't select an Essendon player.

Matthews' record has him in the discussion, whether you like him or not, it's irrelevant. I couldn't select him over Carey as Carey was definitely better but understand why neutral people have him ahead.

Ablett's highlight package is the best in history. Easily.

Plugger was the greatest presence ever. Insane.

Prejudice, ignorance, videos.

Football is a much bigger game than you imagine. I encourage you to watch some games, not YouTube..
