Half expect to win the next 3 then drop the north game
That's one thing that's been pleasing about this year. Adelaide has normally had some stupid losses in their good years, like dropping the game against Brisbane in 2012, or North in 2017. This year, they've won every match that they really ought to win.

I'm not trying to look clever, but rubbish posts get what they deserve. And the 3 month carry on about the Adelaide short break/post sauna is a bit much.
It's a shame as Adelaide have a likeable team, but a few bitter ferals who watch them prefer to go around looking for fights. The grudge with Geelong over Dangerfield is surely almost over, or does that not happen until he retires?

Oh no! I was called out for daring to suggest that all clubs have inferior preparation compared to their opponent at some point.
"Well show me when a club had to do EXACTLY this before" is being a pedant for the sake of it. I said clubs have coped with disadvantageous weather and/or shorter breaks before. They have. If you need Adelaide's preparation before the Geelong game to be called the worst of all time, good for you. It's perfectly fine to just say the opposition were better than your team on the day (the case for every Geelong loss this season).
Great point. A final of course means that home teams play much worse and travelling teams play much better. /s

This has flown under the radar a bit - with all the plaudits about Crows offensive power, their defence has been rock solid. At the start of the year I thought that would be their weakness but blokes like Worrell, Hinge and Michaelanny have taken next stepSquiggle 2026

Collingwood still red hot favs. won't have to leave their home ground and get to play a home GF on their home deck.
Just had a look and we are tied with Collingwood as favourites to win it.
Wouldn't that mean we're the better team because the odds need to take into account that the GF is a home game for the Pies.
On a neutral ground we'd be favourites.
