Don’t have the minerals to sack him so what we get is this thoroughly wasted season which benefits nobody, all so people paid to make tough calls don’t have to have an awkward but necessary conversation.

That 6-day period was the epitome of the Ken Hinkley era in microcosm.

Robbie Gray pulls their arses out of the fire after a horrendous performance against Carlton on the Sunday, then they back up by getting ambushed by St Kilda at home the following Saturday night to lose to the Saints for what was the only time between 2011-2024.

Absolutely nil clue how to keep consistent, good, replicable performance on the rails for any length of time.
