When it happens, the BF servers will melt down in the Data Centre. If you want real disappointment. Then read the opening 3 pages of this thread about when we pulled off the amazing recruitment of Rawlings and Wet Toast put him on leave immediately. They Probably did that to reduce any further harm to their list.
How did he destroy their list? He was LM for three seasons (2016/17/18) and during that time he brought in the likes of Willie Rioli, Jake Waterman, Bailey Williams, Liam Ryan, Oscar Allen and the likes of Petrie and Michell who both went on to contribute to their 2018 GF win off field.

Drafted duds.

Yeah, nah you're right.

He's killing it. Ladder don't lie.

Players West Coast drafted under Brady Rawlings in 2016/2017/2018 and how many AFL games they've played;

2016
#13 - Daniel Venables (21)
#37 - Josh Rotham (72)
#52 - Willie Rioli (51)
#77 - Jake Waterman (112) - Father/Son selection

Terrible draft, with neither the 1st or 2nd round picks still being in the AFL. The Willie Rioli pick was of course good value in the 3rd round but he was traded away.

2017
#13 - Jarrod Brander (22)
#21 - Oscar Allen (105)
#26 - Liam Ryan (121)
#32 - Brayden Ainsworth (15)
#38 - Jack Petrucelle (90)

Whiffed badly on the first round pick, but redemption with Oscar Allen and Liam Ryan in the second round

2018
#28 - Xavier O'Neill (39)
#31 - Luke Foley (32)
#35 - Bailey Williams (85)
#39 - Jarrod Cameron (12) - Academy selection

Another terrible draft with 3 of the top 4 selections no longer being in the AFL and not making it past their rookie contracts. Bailey Williams is okay.

Let's now look at some of the players Brady Rawlings traded into West Coast while he was the list manager;

2016
Sam Mitchell
Nathan Vardy

2017
Brendon Ah Chee

2018
Tom Hickey

Fair to say... not thoroughly impressive there either.

Make no mistake, West Coast's 2018 premiership had very very little to do with Brady Rawlings tenure as list manager.

To be fair, Venables had concussion issues and had to retire. He looked a player before that.
The rest is pretty fair. About as impressive as Joyce lol.

Choosing something that Zondors used to do professionally in Latvia seems a bit unfair.
Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way
La-la-la-da-da-da
La-la-la-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da, la-da-da-da-da :stern look

Signor Rawlings will find his feet. Not many people can step into a new job and go BANG! Let me tell you a story:

My uncle is a cardiac surgeon in the Domenican Republic. Early days, he was very ordinary, but after years and years of practice, he's now like in the top 100 cardiac surgeons in the DR, and has several KOM's as well if you don't mind. So he'll post a surgery or a ride on Strava, & I'll give him Kudos straight away. It doesn't bother me. I've got Foxtel.
Punta Cana? Good place, lovely sand, water, weather and whatever. Will return. Broke 80 off the back tee at Punta Espada GC. Played alright.

Could we have walked CCJ through the pre-season draft but NMFC wanted to "do the right thing"?
Or could we have just not targeted him at all? Then we just take Brayden with our R2, don't have to move a 2023 R2 and then potentially we could've used that on Logan Morris or helped us get up the order.
