Rowell or Anderson will win it imo

I feel like people forget Rowell was on track to win the Brownlow in his debut season until he got injured
I don’t think Rowell will poll much at all between rounds 7-15. Anderson I also think will struggle through having some great games in losses and mediocre games in wins, but I still think he’ll likely round out the top 3 (either Anderson or Serong)

Nick Daicos is the GOAT we've never had a player like him.

If you take Dane Swans ball winning ability and burst from stoppages, Pendlebury's vision and decision making, Buckley's leadership and determination to win and his dad's ability to kick a snag youre something close to Nick.

HE literally had 42 and 3 goals this week and you can become desensitised to his brilliance like it was just another game , but my god is he good .

He is but they were discussing tonight that it is easier to play mid than in the time of Bucks and Judd who were tagged every week. They said it is easy for any mid to get lots of disposals so that those blokes who came before today are underrated.

Sounds more about being Jealous of Nick

Nick has been Tagged Really Heavily this year

Time always makes things seem better/harder.

Pretty much a cop out to say it was harder back then, than now. The old Jordan vs Lebron debate

Whilst you can make a fair argument that it was harder then (tagging, biffo), I also reckon you could make a pretty strong case for it being harder or at least more demanding now, in terms of things like fitness required, pace of the game, need for more running up and back, need to have more of a complete game in terms of offence and defence, be quicker with decision making, be more skillful etc.

Is that why Judd never averaged over 27 disposals a game?

In principle that's true for broadly most mids, except for Nick (and maybe only one or two others) who get heavily tagged each week. And sure, Bucks, Judd, etc got tagged pretty often, but that's the level that Nick is at.

He will have over 100 career Brownlow votes by end of year in just his fourth year - the record is 262.

Many would suggest the poster above it guilding the lily a little bit, but it's all true. Swan is a good comparison for centre clearance / speed combo, Pendles is the right comp for vision and game awareness. Peter is not a bad comp for goal kicking, although I think Nick is still a notch below. In terms of field kicking, It's not quite Bucks level, but it is probably somewhere in the Pendles level I think.

As much as I am a NAS fan, its funny how Naicos's game has been ignored by the media. I doubt there would be more than 20 40 and 3 goal games in history.

Its like last year when he had an insane clearance and contested possession game but went to the bench and forward line in the last quarter against the dogs because he absolutely exhausted himself carrying the side and Bont took over.

Nick’s game was better in just about every way except for last minute moments

God the Nas circle jerk has reached biblical proportions this week. The GOAT of AFL/VFL apparently. Amazing player but when Nick gets 30 and 2 this week and Nas has 22 and 0 they’ll move on to their next love interest

Tend to agree. Naicos moves to HBF and he is a seagull. NAS plays it and hes the best ever. Quite amusing
