Naicos hits Smith in the chest, nothing from Christian. Smith hits Naicos softer than Naicos him him, Naicos flops like a fish… Smith gets a fine.
Also, Wines cops 3 weeks for the bump on Lord that concussed him. Honestly, it’s a fair bump. Lord was kicking the ball just as Wines got to him. Should be a week at best really.

Let`s hope Greg Swann sees the light when he takes up his new job with the AFL and scuttles christian forever as his decisions are a joke!!! Damn Daicos just drops to one knee after the contact is made to milk a free, and Smith cops a fine for that?!!......oh please give me strength. Ollie Wines bumps our bloke below his shoulder right on his number (3) and gets 3 weeks for it, and Lord probably got concussion from his head being jolted sideways from the bump, but it was not really high contact as christian made out as there seemed to be only minimum head contact at most........what a joke, and Port should appeal. This is the same arse**** that let Mihocek off for his reckless shove on Vlastuin that christian called careless conduct, when it was intentional & dangerous............what a champion for the maggies he really is!!! The AFL should be embarrassed by what he serves up each week!!! Greg Swann please include him when you do your AFL clean up and make it soon......

You can see Lord's head get whipped to the side at the bump... but FFS, he just kicked the ball and was off-balance. The whole thing is so broken. You see May and Wines cop 3 each, but when Larkey did something genuinely dangerous and outside of the game when he tunnelled Young and only got a week.
There has been a chage though, in that guys are now get punished for acts on Carlton players (even when it’s grossly unfair).
There must be other vision of the wines hit because the one I have seen is not clear that there was head high contact.
What is clear is wines elected to bump and did have the opportunity to tackle so made the wrong call, had he tackled and not got cooper high it probably would’ve been ok.
In the same way Howe was concussed by that hawks player a couple of weeks ago when instead of bumping he tackled, that is the blueprint of what the league deems acceptable.

Why bump if you can tackle? I think teh 'bump' is dangerous and specifically designed to block the run of an opponent as a best case and as a worse case. do damage to an unprotected and unaware player - ban it. Besides a properly executed tackle hurts the opponent more - if you know what you are doing. Wines was very late with the hit agt least a step and half - Lord was cutting them to pieces before that hit.That’s a shot over the bow for the removal of the bump from the game, make no mistake about it
Especially if you wear number 35 and can drop to one knee quickly.....
