Sunny Land may be club could try something unique like going on a road trip on saturday, staying away from home at sunshine coast or Gold coast and arrive at Gabba on Sunday like its an away game.

Worth trying to see if that makes any difference to how players prepare and if it does - could be a trick we can use for finals.

Perhaps on Saturday they can bring their swags down to Brighton Homes Arena, campfire in the centre circle and roast some marshmallows while discussing their brotherhood.

Interesting Fages said the team self congratulating with exaggerated celebrations of spoils, etc. Was to help deal with a lack of support from the crowd in away games. Must sap a bit of energy but maybe worthwhile at home games as well

I'd move Beecken down back and Fletcher to the wing

Fletcher, Levi and one of Reville or Marshall as the wing rotations with the other as the sub

Can't play Smith and Day in the same forwardline imo, and Day offers more. So Ty or play small - but if we go with just Day and Logan then we are pretty f-ed if Fort or Day get injured during a game.

Yeah and can always sub Day or Gallop to get some extra speed in the game once it opens up (surely our unlucky injury run ends soon)

Don't count us out yet. All we need out of whoever comes in is 4-5 games at most. I think the kids could do it.

Obviously we have Kai coming back in which is a big plus and I reckon Gallop could be pretty great for 4-5 weeks.

Thought Day looked alright up the ground in the third against Freo

And Gallops pressure could be an asset if we can still isolate Morris and hopefully have Charlie, Cam and Kai competing strongly and pressuring

What a challenge for this group. Some proper adversity this year. If we show up with the right attitude mentally we can still give it a shake.

I speak for myself and hopefully everyone else when I say I'd rather see how Gallop goes or play small ball. Defence doesn't need anymore disruptions.
