How much does it cost in legals to take on a tribunal case? I usually see clubs hire KC's.

Taking it to the tribunal & losing is a $10k hit to the soft cap

Plus costs for those things you've mentioned

Which one (or two?) of you is wrong? If the vision isn't conclusive, we can't say it definitely didn't hit his head.

Innocent until proven guilty.

It can't be said until there's clear evidence of contact to the head, which there isn't imo, so the charge remains unproven.

The most disappointing thing about the Neale suspension is this will now be accepted as precedent on similar incidents when no one I know thinks this should be a suspension.

I agree to... because just in case ( touch wood it doesn't happen) if Stanley is injured 1st final, we need someone to come in and that could be Edwards
Edwards is not playing finals unless we lose at least another three talls from the current best 23.

If Rhys is out for some reason, Blitz is shouldering most of the ruck duties. If Blitz misses as well, it'll be Scratch into the ruck and Ollie in up forward. And if Neale blows up as well, it would be SDK in the middle and Kolo in down back.

There is just no way in the world that Edwards comes in for a final off the interrupted season he has had. Would be utter madness and guaranteed to be completely unproductive. And I say all that from the viewpoint of being an Edwards believer.

Put it this way, if the #11 is playing seniors in September, I think we'll have been hit that hard by the injury stick that our chances of competing would be basically zero.

I think if it were to rule him out of a game against a more important opponent, without risking an extra week, we probably would.
3 weeks without footy for a bloke who is in the best form of his career I wonder if that was considered I don't see it being ideal going into a finals game.

Yep, unless they backtrack like they did with the Hawkins jumper punch, which they won't because of their paranoia about physical contact.
