“Research has found young LGBTQIA+ Australians are turning away from community sport due to the prevalence of homophobia, queerphobia and discrimination.

The Free to Exist report by Swinburne University of Technology, which surveyed more than 500 people, found more than 75 per cent of young gay men have witnessed homophobia, and more than 60 per cent had experienced it personally”

I'm just about done with the AFL. Crooked, rigged, compromised 'league' that's no longer about sport but about $$, Sponsors and 'Entertainment'.

Be careful what you wish for from here you virtue signalling, morally righteous, superior, high ground dwellers. We will remember and we will crucify you when you inevitably make a mistake or slip of the tongue or have a human moment.... and we will absolutely have NO mercy.

Can physically threaten a player on the field and send them threatening texts? OK.
Can bring the game into complete disrepute off the field (be drunk at nightclubs etc)? OK.
Can be up on violent charges or assault charges? OK.
Can take illegal and criminal drugs multiple times before even getting close to in trouble? OK.

Say a 'word' people don't agree with? GONE. Crucified. Shamed.

Sick of the double standards and hypocrisy.

Any chance you can translate that for us?
Andrew Dillon says Snoop is a changed man.

With that in mind the song is about Snoop going for a drive to his local sports gun club. Shoots off some rounds.
Then get back in his car. Sees a female dog let's his friends play with her.

Then does some gardening with a hoe.

Does get a bit murky after that. I think he then goes to another gun club on the EastEnders to shoot some rounds.

Nothing nefarious in Snoop's latest track at all.....

I’d say it’s probably higher outside sport though, so are they really doing any good leaving sport?

I doubt it. Got off very lightly. Typical AFL - special rules for special people.
How would the other guys who copped a full whack be feeling now!
He is a gutless squib.
Worst part - blaming all and sundry except himself.
Previous form - no doubt. He didn't know he had it in him - it just popped out this time - "Oh my where did that come from??"
Pathetic
Any proof?

Add sexually assaulting another player... A OK by afl.

and 81% of all statistics are made up on the spot

I like the part where Dillon said they can't monitor every lyric on every song

Will remember that next time someone involved in the AFL gets cancelled for something they tweeted on April 15th 2008 while still in school
What a load of crap. How hard is it to ask AI these days what sorts of offensive lyrics have been in snoop dogs song?
Is it really that hard?
Sure 25 years ago before the internet that would have been valid not anymore.

In the heat of the battle there is lots of pushing, shoving, trash talking and I am sure there have been some terrible things said on the field where players have said worse. My advice to Izak is focus more on your game and don't get sucked in by the opponent. And also start to respect others in this world no matter if you are gay or straight because I know gay and lesbian people myself and they are not trouble makers and in fact they have their lives to live but they also live in fear too for sure (esp gay). Izak, you lost perhaps your only chance to potentially play in a premiership side and you need to accept that.

If this happens a lot more in the future, something is not right.

And me as a Crows supporter since 1991, the excitement and level of expectation has hit rock bottom because something like a bad injury or suspension had to hit at this time of the season. Feels like last season all over again. Let's see about next month, hopefully the team is more hungry than ever and can go out and prove everyone wrong.

Jesus, coming from a Collingwood fan I’ve heard it all now.

How is flopper going this week?

Have faith in the rest of the team. We can still do this.

It was obvious from day 1 this was going to happened.
Bloke makes 1 mistake and the world falls in on him.

thats because the AFL has fostered a culture of throwing players to the wolves because of a word. We all get the hardships communities go through but the fact we have allowed people not involved with the game to dictate social policy under the guise of inclusion and role models really means players who make a simple mistake like say the wrong word in a heat of the moment, are treated like the worst people on the planet and frankly a lot of the media need their ****ing priorities looked at. Where as someone who actually makes threats, commits crimes is well, they need help, they need guidence, we should throw our arms around them. Its bullshit and frankly **** all the PC media brigade, they arent helping anyone but themselves.
