Sadly, that’s Bevo.If it was the guy who is in charge of our stupidly high press then fair enough
(99% sure that is Bevos own design)

Did that actually happen? When you have your head coach telling assistant coaches to “**** off” at the end of second quarter you know things are going really, really well.
JOD is a work in progress. Realistically the way the ball moved into the forward line he and Lobb were on a hiding to nothing. Both had bad moments but they were under siege.Criticism of McNeil is warranted. If JOD is not in the side that would mean that Gardner is. That is not a good option.
I certainly don’t want one. We don’t deserve to be thereAm I the only one that doesn’t want an Essendon win.
Couldn’t think of anything worse than repeating today all over again.

Was at the ground, I want to see this. I noticed at 3/4 time all the assistants spoke to their respective groups, Bevo was back at bench. Them Then the assistants ran away up a different gate back to box and Bevo came out. Is this normal, there was no communication between Bevo and assistants at all.The footy bothers me a lot less than the board signing an extension mid year for literally no reason.
We gave up all optionality for 0 gain.
That’s what happens when the board doesn’t have to justify their actions to anyone.
Perfectly summed up our season, just not quite good enough. Didn‘t capitalise in the first quarter and fell apart in the second. Credit to them for still trying in the last quarter, but that effort should‘ve been there in the second quarter when the game was in the balance.
Again we had the same issues that we‘ve had all season. Let easy goals out the back and (most) defenders couldn‘t win 1-on-1 contests.
Name checks outTo any of you mentally struggling at the moment, it's times like these you need to have something to turn to. A loved one, a friend, etc. For me it is hardcore drugs and I must say it is workinggo dogs!!

Huh? Where was thisWhen you have your head coach telling assistant coaches to “**** off” at the end of second quarter you know things are going really, really well.
Freo brought one of their better players in off an injury. He played well. Big risks. Big rewardsThere are some players we’ve given a lot of games to, that wouldn’t have gotten them at most clubs. Definitely not any clubs with serious aspirations.
It’s not really their fault and it’s not a personal thing. Not their fault they get picked. Shouldn’t be any non-footy criticisms or over the top vitriol.
But - it is incredibly frustrating. And in some cases it’s the same players year after year.
And no, they don’t perform some super complex role that only big brains can understand. They’re just so far off the level required that aspect is completely irrelevant.
Treloar watching on while some of these players were selected is the height of selection stupidity. What’s really sad is that it played out exactly like the West non-selection last year, when he was available. We had everything on the line. We would have been a better side with him in it, over a few others. Nobody can really dispute that. There’s a risk in playing him, but you either cop that or use him as sub.
Bevo is tactically poor in many ways. This one is one of them. And it is beyond frustrating.
Seeing Tim English drop mark after mark was disheartening. That’s meant to be his game.
He was AA two years after that happened. It hasn’t been his game since he was concussed by Naughts. That incident kind of changed the trajectory of his career.
English takes a LONG time to get back into after a concussion (not paying the bloke out, it's just a fact. concussion is different for everybody). It hasn’t been his game since he was concussed by Naughts. That incident kind of changed the trajectory of his career.
