Saints have to get an AA ruckman out if TDK with about 22+ high quality games a year for 4-5 years for this money to be worth it. They will also require multiple top 4 finishes and a premiership for this to be deemed successful. Within the next 2-3 years if nothing improves, particularly their bottom 3rd of the list (they still rely heavily on a defensive cheat in Wilkie and an aging MaCrae). TDK won’t be playing well into his thirties.

I truly expect him to blow his body up early with the pressure he will under from the club and the supporters. Or he could go the other way and take it easy like he has for us the past 3 months. The competitive best we saw for 4-5 rounds last (and that’s all it was) may actually be gone. He will want the longevity of his body to ensure he keeps getting paid. There is zero movement in this price tag for saint kilda either. Being that’s it’s a free agent. We’ve seen how SOSs contracts for McGovern, Williams and Saad snd probably more hamstrung the club and they sold in comparison.

If St Kilda don’t make finals in 2026 and 2027, they will be in no man’s land in 2 years time when NWM leaves. They will then be stuck with a ruckman on $1.7+ million pa and their best player will have left.

Anyone else find it slightly poetic/ironic that TDK misses that sitter of a goal with his last ever kick in the Carlton guernsey?

He probably didn’t want to feel the love of his Carlton makes. All business at that point.

Thanks rpcd appreciate it.
So given that the sts have to submit the details of the deal to AFL house are we likely to know how much per annum?
Rumour is 1.7 and then went to 1.8 but with the extra year maybe it’s spread a little more thinly?
Do free agent wages have performance based metrics, extension triggers or do they have to stump up full cash as a restricted free agent?

I guess losing one of your best players is like your trophy wife leaving you for another bloke isn't eay.

But when she leaves you for the fat loser guys for money, it's next-level humiliation.

Now remind me again how relevant and successful your mob has been since getting busted for cheating?

Maybe it was that time supercoach Pagan sent Fev to full back.

Enjoy Vossy
About as relevant as St Kilda has been since Harold Holt went swimming with the fishes.
$15 million worth of lipstick ain't gonna change this pig. Never change St Kilda, we enjoy the laughs.

So you are saying the Saints are are that fat loser with money???

Sounds about right

Haywood, Grundy, Roberts all SA players.

Papley as steak knives, why not?

He's only just 29. Obviously DD on the injuries...

Was 8th in the league in goal assists per game this year.... remember Swans played a lot with no KPFs this year...

We are talking Steven Silvani here!!!
It's beyond him and within the walls if the Saints board and leadership is happy for SOS to play his vendetta out and risk the Saints cap, future dealings with other clubs, then the lot of them are just as culpable. What's SOS angry at? he was happy to accept Elliot's paper bags, and squilled when AFL came knocking. We re-opened our arms back to him, gave him a job and a remit to rebuild, drafted two of his sons, have been very fair in offering JSOS what he's worth on the market through each contract.

If the club can't reign him in, hopefully his mum or Jo have some sense and have a nice chat to him.

Ha. Harley’s extending. Yeah interesting to see what view the Blues list management team take this year. Dean and Walker are going to be very good FS pick ups. Lindsay or more likely Dovaston would be good too.

The hard part of coming up with a curnow trade rn is we don’t even know what the draft changes will be. If we lose priority access to Walker I’d suggest we are much more likely to be interested in next years picks

I hope they change the 1R academy rules but I hope FS remains, just make sure clubs pay a premium.

About as successful as your mob. That one flag by one point in your horrible tragic history.
