Yeah Gaylor is impressive. Goes when she needs to and puts in a mountain of work. Interesting to see if the long term plan is for her to play midfield because she looks to have some tools.

You could also see Prespakis and Nanscawen were well prepared to deal with Conti; Prespakis blocking at stoppages and Nanscawen ready to switch and chase if Conti used her speed to run off.

Was a good game. I love our pressure. The girls know more about edge than the boys.

Without knowing much about her personality and whether she’d embrace it, I’d have her earmarked as a potential captaincy candidate in 3-4 years.

Have to say that with more young players coming through the pathways there is a noticeable improvement in the kicking actions and handball execution. Still some work to go on execution and decision making on the skill front but the amount of players with genuine kicking actions is good to see. Onwards and upwards.
