Ross spoke highly of his character during an awful personal battle this year. The one-year deal is probably a good faith thing.

Not meant to be a shot at the fella at all Broski, I've always interpreted this thread as for players that pop up when they haven't crossed the radar for a while. I hadn't looked at the Saints LTI list so just assumed, because he wasn't getting a game, and was sort of fringe prior to that, that he's been moved on some time back.

I'm not a fan of posters using it to take a potshot at a player who, in their opinion, is not up to standard. There's plenty of other threads for that bollocks.

At least now he's not getting a game for his name.

He'll play his role, albeit from then on for his sake I'd actually be emotionally invested in him going out and earning himself some accolades, being involved in timeless footy history moments or something like that. If not he'll remain one of the most unremarkable 150+ gamers in the history of the sport.

I genuinely think Silvagni is underrated and has been mistreated by Carlton.

He has had injuries and been moved from end to end.

Give him a set role in a more settled team and as long as he stays fit I think he can be very valuable.
