If people can't distinguish playing the victim from actually being the victim, then I give up. There is not a single justification for the booing of Quaynor other than parochial mob rage. Scary.

Wow!If you called Degoey a big Ape would you get suspended?
There won't be any welcome, your players will get one of the most hostile atmospheres they've ever dealt with if you meet us in a final.
Chance for Dillon to finally show some leadership here and come out with a succinct comment.
"The crowd booing Quaynor last night were disappointing, I think they should have a think about it, they are better than that"
Instead it will be ignore, maybe a dozen meetings behind closed doors. Some weak drawn out crap that achieves nothing.

If he had the sound off then he should have clarified that, otherwise he can be the weekly nomination for the AFL Sergeant Schultz awardHe won't.
Heeney on Ch 7 went with the i watched the game but didn't hear the booing line. Pathetic
Is this true? I get they don't want to draw attention to it, because that's what Ch7 would have been told by the AFL, but to outright lie??He won't.

Yeah, a quick look at their board tells you all you need to know about the fans who were doing it last night.Wow the crows fans on their own board are pathetic. “Woke nonsense” etc etc. Fingers crossed they go out in straight sets, what a spineless org from the top through to their fans.

The only time I've ever heard a racial slur thrown out at the footy was at an Adelaide home game.A day or two after the original incident the ABC had a PR guy on to talk about the Crows' handling of it so far and he said Adelaide have a reputation for being one of the least progressive teams in the competition which was proved last night.
What's "Australian" values? This will be good
Didnt Adelaide recently call a royal commission after they won DV champs of Australia? How's things in Gotham city this morning Dude? Hope no-one invaded your home overnight.
By Pies PresidentDo you agree this applies to any black or indigenous player who is called a “dirty black campaigner”?
Was it Adam Goodes issue he took offence to being called a monkey?
Arguing the severity of the penalty for all incidents, I could understand (if not accept) the argument.A four-week suspension in the context of the timing in the season is one of the most extreme penalties I have ever seen for any offence. You can clearly see who has actually played the game vs the self-righteous sheep coming out saying 5, 6, 7, 8 games etc.
The lad is missing finals on his first opportunity having spent his career thus far at struggling clubs, surely it is understood how precious that is. If you do not recognise that he has been punished severely enough, you are just sinking in the boots to signal your virtuosity.
You know it’s not just “a name”, right?End of the day .
He did not murder anyone.
He did not rape anyone
He did not bash anyone
He did not physically assault anyone.
He even did not call for an incitement for violence
He called someone a name on an AFL field.
Whole thing is a ****ing joke
Out of all the takes I’ve read on here, this is hilarious, coming from a Hawthorn fan.Is anyone actually surprised? Adelaide is a backwards dump 25 years behind the rest world
Have been assured by Crows fans it had nothing to do with the Rankine incident. Why was Quaynor the one gettign booed? I dont understand it
Yeah. And more specifically a 13 yr old girl in a crowd during the game.By Pies President

Might have been those leaks from the AFL tegrity unit to Fox journos. Can't blame them, it got a ton of clicks. Not sure there was any truth to it mind you. I guess that didn't matter to them though. Why was Quaynor the one gettign booed? I dont understand it
Meanwhile Collingwood are sponsored by Emirates which is owned by the UAE government which is a country where homosexuality is illegal.
But sure be more concerned about some booing.![]()
